This is a Pauillac style Bordeaux blend consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec,
Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The color of the wine is dark ruby with intense, ripe,
raspberry fruit and green olive aromas that open up while airing in the glass. This wine has
forward, rich, plush, cedary, spicy, red currant flavors with great depth and structure.
This wine is aged mostly in new American oak from Kentucky and Minnesota. Enjoyable
to drink now, though will benefit with several more years of bottle aging.
2017 Three Kings Cabernet
This is a massive lush wine that has the potential to live well into this millennium.
It has excellent rich color, along with earthy, mineral and coffee-like nuances in
the nose. The finish (classic Burnet Ridge) lingers on the palate. Though this wine
appears ready to drink on release, bottle age will further its development.
Tuscan Style Sangiovese $27.99
Valley floor grapes from a single vineyard produced this fabulous blend. The addition of
Trillium takes this wine to the next level of Greatness! It enhances the color, mouth
feel, middle pallet and finish of the wine. There is herbal, ripe plum/cherry aroma with
overtones of vanilla and spice. This wine is fun to drink now and will benefit from further
bottle age if you have the patience to wait.
This full-blown Zin has forward, intense, spicy, briary, jammy, aroma with intense,
concentrated, high-extract, ripe raspberry, fruit flavors laced with vanilla. The mouth
feel is Classic Burnet Ridge with a finish that begs for Ribs! Ready to drink, this wine
is a good companion with rustic American barbecue.
2019 Sauvignon Blanc
The grapes in this wine were picked under ideal conditions. The aroma suggest peaches,
melon, fig and spice. The flavors are fresh, supple, earthy, grassy and citrussy. The
wine has good depth and length on the finish; with a lingering aftertaste. This very
appealing wine shows intense varietal character and will continue to develop with bottle
age for another year or so.
2019 Lake Erie Pinot Gris
The grapes for this wine were grown at the Ohio State University Ashtabula
Agricultural Research Station OARDC in North Kingsville, within sight of Lake Erie. The vineyard
is located ideally for the growing of wine grapes, with excellent air and water drainage. For more
than two decades Greg Johns has been the vineyard manager. This wine has apricot, mineral, pear and
green apple aromas with crisp lime and white pepper flavors. This wine is great for casual summer sipping.
2019 Kreck Chardonnay $19.99
The wine, aged in American oak barrels, is full bodied with toasty, earthy,
ripe pear and apple flavors. I encourage you to drink this lovely wine while it is in its
youth; however it does have the acidity to age.
